Chogyam Trungpa - A Vida Real

Quotes and excerpts from the book “Work Sex Money” by Chögyam Trungpa. Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche (1939 - 1987) was a scholar, teacher, artist, poet, and meditation master of the Vajrayana Buddhist tradition. Born in Tibet, he was recognized as the 11th incarnation of Trungpa Tulku and trained in the Kagyu and Nyingma traditions. After the Chinese invasion, he fled to India and later studied in the United Kingdom, where he also explored Western culture. A pioneer in the dissemination of Tibetan Buddhism in the West, Trungpa authored more than two dozen books in English. In 1970, he moved to the United States, and in the following fifteen years, founded a network of several hundred Buddhist meditation centers in the United States and Canada. Trungpa became known for his innovative and often controversial approach to Buddhism, called “Shambhala Buddhism”. He emphasized the application of Buddhist principles to daily life, approaching spirituality with authenticity, without idealizations. His teachings included the importance of meditation, understanding the mind, and the courage to face reality as it is. He also introduced concepts such as "mad wisdom," challenging conventions to awaken profound insights. 🙏 Purchase Tibetan Buddhism books through our Amazon link: https://amzn.to/4h3ZImu List of books by Chögyam Trungpa: https://amzn.to/4gFFQqn 📚 Check out our list of recommendations: https://www.amazon.com.br/shop/corvoseco “Money works like karma. Almost everyone has an unresolved problem with money, just as they have an unresolved problem with life. Our financial neurosis is often based on our family neurosis, passed down from generation to generation. Money becomes a karmic linking factor.” Chögyam Trungpa. “In marriage, problems arise when people feel they are in an obligatory situation instead of relating as friends. If friendship continues to develop, husband and wife can eventually develop a level of common understanding where they don't even need to finish their sentences. Generosity is the true terrain of monogamy or commitment. Commitment can provide generosity and openness; you share your experiences without making a big fuss about them. That is the highest sense of generosity.” Chögyam Trungpa. “Through mindfulness of the present moment, we develop a way of doing nothing, absolutely nothing – physically nothing and psychologically nothing.” Chögyam Trungpa.
