Tara Westover in conversation with David Runciman

Gates Cambridge alumna Tara Westover spoke to Professor David Runciman at the launch of her memoir, Educated (Penguin Random House, 2018). The book tells of her experiences growing up in rural Idaho, raised by a radical, survivalist father who was intensely paranoid about government interference in the lives of his family. The book has topped the US Amazon charts and been widely and very favourably reviewed.
