Walking Japan the Long Way｜Old Nikko Highway – Day 4　日光道中｜徒歩5日間の旅

This video follows Day 4 of my five-day walk along the historic Nikko Dochu. On this fourth day, I traveled from Oyama-shuku toward the bustling city of Utsunomiya. As I passed through increasingly urban landscapes, nearly all physical traces of the old highway faded away—save for a small, precious section of surviving historic cedar trees. After finally arriving in Utsunomiya, I celebrated the day's hard walk with a gyoza feast, trying the famous dumplings at four different shops for a delicious and well-deserved reward. BGM: MusMus
