Walking Japan the Long Way｜Old Nikko Highway – Day 2　日光道中｜徒歩5日間の旅

This video follows Day 2 of my five-day walk along the historic Nikkō Dōchū (Old Nikkō Highway). On this second day, the journey takes me from Koshigaya-shuku to Kurihashi-shuku. As I passed through quiet suburban stretches, almost no physical traces of the old Edo-period road remained visible. Yet, walking these modern paths offered a unique sense of solitude, allowing me to imagine the long journeys of the past while pushing forward to the next historic post town. BGM: MusMus
