In this video you can enjoy the cab ride - train driver's view on Chemins de Fer de Provence, metre gauge railway in France between Nice and Saint-André-les-Alpes in 4K/60 frames per second. The Chemins de Fer de Provence is a small rail company providing a daily train service between Nice and Digne-les-Bains in Provence, a route that leads us from the famous Côte d'Azur on the Mediterranean Sea up to the Alps. Their one route, which dates from the 1890s, is known locally as the Train des Pignes (pine nut in French). The line from Nice to Digne-les-Bains has more than 1000 engineering structures including 25 tunnels, 16 viaducts, 15 bridges and 50 stations. The structures offer spectacular viewpoints. Because of the renovation work on the Moriez tunnel, the section of the line between St-André and Digne is being replaced by buses. I could not use the GPS data, so there is no speedometer data available in the video.
