MoveTip #7: Build a Report for Anything in Skyline with the Document Grid

⚡ Brief Summary Interfacing quantitative mass spec software tools with other tools for data analysis can sometimes be tricky. The Skyline team built an extremely flexible reporting interface which allows you to format a report, for virtually any value or metric from the data files, so that it can be interfaced with your downstream processing tools. The reports are available via UI or CLI. In this MoveTip, we demonstrate how to use the Document Grid to customize reports and share them. 🧪 What You’ll Learn to try It Yourself You’ll learn how perform these reporting tasks within Skyline: • View and browse available reports • Use the search function to add desired columns • Build long- or wide-format data tables using the Pivot on Replicate function 🧠 About MoveTips MoveTips is a short-format educational series from Move Analytical — practical hacks, features, and insights to make metabolomics easy and reproducible.
