Kingfish off South Pier -Durban Harbour

A quick morning session before Lionel could off to work. A long walk for a short session but exercise is good lol 😉 We can’t always fish when the conditions are good but we make the most of these quickies, trying out different venues, baits, and techniques, before and after work. After arriving at the pier, Lionel knew that the tide was unfavorable and he searched for some workable white water and started to fish the area. After several failed attempts he slowed down his retrieve and first cast he was vas (mind the commentary as he was excited). Landing a decent kingie vs the tackle used. After an hour and 15 minutes he called it and headed off to work.
