Fish and Film - Tight Line Tracking, Nymphs In the Wind, Dry Dropper and Wild Trout

Fishing is a story . . . On the best trout rivers, everything changes when the bugs start moving. On an early spring morning on a favorite river, I found good action for trout with nymphs and a tracking approach. With a tight line rig, a slow drop with light flies made the difference. Although trout refused to come all the way to the surface, their focus was up in the water column. I floated the sighter for distance, and I switched to a dry dropper to beat the wind. These frequent adjustments kept me in the game.
