Swirl Flap Delete - Jeep Grand Cherokee WK/WH 3.0 CRD OM642

In this video I perform a swirl flap delete by fitting a resistor on my Jeep Grand Cherokee WK/WH 3.0 CRD OM642. Swirl flaps can stick due to carbon build up from the EGR valve which diverts exhaust gases back through the intake system to be re-burnt - an emissions control system. The swirl flap actuator can also fail and therefore deleting this function avoids having to replace the actuator which can be costly and a nuisance to replace. The OM642 engine is a Mercedes-Benz derived unit fitted to a number of their models including the Sprinter.
