Train Sanding The Rails On Steep Hill, CSX Intermodal At New Angle, Norfolk Southern Train Passes Under Me At Abandoned Bridge Area, Railroad Radio Audio With CSX Train Going Under NS Bridge, Norfolk Southern Train With Foreign Power DPU Flying Past Me & CSX Train Fools Me At Railroad Crossing In Kentucky. 6 Trains, Railroad Radio Audio & The Live Action Pets In This Video From Northern Kentucky. All the Norfolk Southern trains in this video were filmed on the NS Rat Hole Line. This is the line that the city of Cincinnati recently sold to NS. The first train is coming up the hill out of the Ohio River Valley. This is a southbound loaded grain train. Listen to it sanding the rails as it fights gravity in Crescent Springs, Kentucky! Then we go to a railroad crossing in Walton, Kentucky to catch a northbound CSX train. I don't think that I have filmed this angle before. Check out the line side signals. Next we see an NS train booking past under me. The train is crossing a bridge over the CSX Short Line and is passing a location where a road used to pass over the track. I show some survey markers that show the easement for the highway and the NS and CSX property lines. I show my radio and we hear a train on it that is approaching on the CSX Short Line. The train goes under me and under the NS Rat Hole Line on its way to Queensgate Yard in Cincinnati. Then I catch a fast Norfolk Southern manifest running southbound towards the Locust Street railroad crossing in Walton, Kentucky. The last train is a CSX southbound train crossing Locust Street. Norfolk Southern is busier than CSX here. On this day the CSX line had more trains which I have never seen before. It was probably due to reroutes from the hurricane. I thought the approaching train was a Norfolk Southern train but I was wrong. This was a pretty good train on its way to Louisville from Cincinnati.
