Heavy Train Versus Hill, Railroad Maintenance Of Way Parade ( MOW ), Train With Loud Wheels & Abandoned Caboose Update. Cincinnati Eastern Railroad, Norfolk Southern Railroad & CSX Railroad Action In Ohio And West Virginia. See the new livery on the Cincinnati Eastern Locomotives as I chase the train to the hill. This is a loaded stone train that also has a storage tank car on the front. As you will see, the caboose is gone for good. It was in such bad condition that restoring was out of the question. I also filmed both sides of the stone train and got it at the base of the hill in Williamsburg, Ohio, USA. Then we see all kinds of CSX maintenance of way equipment. This equipment is for track work and there was all kinds of cool machinery. I filmed them in Kenova, West Virginia going under the Norfolk Southern Heartland Corridor. Some of those machines are very interesting looking. Leave a comment if you know what they do. I added this for variety. I also added a Norfolk Southern train that had some wheels with flat spots. I could feel the ground shake when a few of them went pounding by. Flat spots are caused when the wheels stop rotating while the train is moving. Most common cause is when emergency brakes are applied or when conditions such as autumn leaves and ice create slippery rails causing the wheels to lock up. That train was filmed in one of the 52 neighbourhoods of Cincinnati. I am told that a lot of people aren't getting notified of my new videos.
