The law is a labyrinth: you enter thinking you'll reach God, but you just keep going around in circles. Grace is different—it puts you directly at your destination. Hebrews 1:1 says that God spoke in many ways—through the prophets, through the law—but now speaks through the Son. The present truth is no longer the law. It is the grace revealed in Christ Jesus. The law was given by Moses with 613 commandments—not to lead you to God, but to show you that you can't get there alone. It's a labyrinth: you enter, but you never know how to get out. On the cross, that changed. A voice declared, "You have reached your destination"—and the destination is no longer a place you need to find. It's a person you need to receive. Those who still live by the law are inside the labyrinth, going around in circles, looking for a place that is already inside them.
