In this video, we explore the derelict former Carpenters Arms in St. Athan, Wales, to see what was left behind after the doors closed for the very last time! 📸 The Carpenters Arms, St. Athan 📸 Firstly, thank you to everybody who commented on our reveal photo and took the time to share the history of this building, it is very appreciated. The Carpenters Arms, St. Athan, started it's life as Fisher Bridge Farm, built just a stones throw away from the then named, RAF St. Athan. By the early 1970s, the site had been sold to a number of people including Dai Pig Hughes before becoming the well known "Fisherbridge Inn" in 1979. Nicknamed the "FBI", service personnel and local residents would frequently visit the pub to unwind and for just 50p, you could enjoy a freshly cooked burger in 1981, a stark difference to the prices today.
