PARANÁ EP 10: Existe um MUSEU EGÍPCIO no PARANÁ e fomos conhecer
PARANÁ EP 10: There's an EGYPTIAN MUSEUM in PARANÁ and we went to check it out! 🥾 Welcome to Conexão Aventrilheiros! Did you know that there's a place in Curitiba where you can take a real trip to Ancient Egypt without leaving Brazil? In the last episode of our adventure through Paraná, we visited the incredible Egyptian and Rosicrucian Museum of Curitiba, one of the most curious and surprising attractions in the capital of Paraná. And we can say that this was the perfect ending to our trip through the state! Located in the Bacacheri neighborhood, the museum brings together detailed replicas of artifacts from Ancient Egypt, sarcophagi, statues of pharaohs, hieroglyphs, and various objects that help tell the story of one of the most fascinating civilizations of humanity. But the highlight of the visit is the famous mummy Tothmea, an authentic Egyptian mummy approximately 2,500 years old, considered one of the few original mummies in Brazil. In addition to the museum, the complex features gardens inspired by Egyptian architecture, sculptures, monuments, and environments that make you feel like you're on another continent. Is it worth visiting? We show you everything in this video! 📍How to get there: 🚗 By car: The museum is approximately 8 km from the center of Curitiba and can be easily accessed by car, ride-sharing app, or public transport. By car, putting the museum's name into your GPS will get you there correctly. You can park on the street in front of the museum, but arrive early. By public transport: go to the Boa Vista Terminal and transfer to one of the following feeder buses: B-43 (Rio Verde), 322 (Vila Esperança), or 343 (Bairro Alto-Boa Vista). Ask to get off at the stop near the “Egyptian Museum,” located behind Bacacheri Park. From the city center, more specifically from the Guadalupe Terminal, there are several direct bus lines that stop about a block from the Museum. Lines N-62, N-63, and C-72, which connect Curitiba to the metropolitan area, pass along Erasto Gaertner Avenue, located one block from the museum. 🕒 Opening Hours (March 2026): Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM 👉 Admission (March 2026): You can purchase the Complete Package (the one we bought) which gives access to the Egyptian Museum, the Tutankhamun Museum and the Luxor Complex for R$ 38.00 full price, R$ 19.00 half price, or purchase tickets separately for specific areas. All information is available on the website https://ingressos.museuegipcioerosacr.... Far from being just another attraction, this museum offers one of the most in-depth immersions into Egyptian civilization available in Brazil, housing everything from perfect replicas of pharaonic treasures to an authentic mummy with millennia of history. So, if you're planning a trip to the capital of Paraná or are a local looking for a unique cultural experience, prepare to be surprised when you discover this place. 📽️ Watch the full vlog of our last trip to Paraná before returning to Rio de Janeiro if you enjoy travel, history, culture, curiosities, and surprising destinations. 🔔 Subscribe to the channel, like and hype this video, share it with friends and family, and activate the notification bell so you don't miss our next videos.
