Mitos, utopias e moscas: José Pacheco @TEDxAveiroED

A specialist in Music and in Reading and Writing, he holds a master's degree in Educational Sciences from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto. Since 1976, he has coordinated the Escola da Ponte, which he conceived, an institution that has become known for its innovative educational project based on student autonomy. He is the author of books and several articles on education, defining himself as "a madman with notions of practice." In Brazil, I oversee school projects in the following states: Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, and the Federal District. In addition to the work carried out in these institutions, I give lectures, teach courses and seminars in schools, universities, management training centers, companies, and collaborate on initiatives of the Brazilian Ministry of Education. He came to share with us the innovative project of the "Escola da Ponte". In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
