He is a university professor and also works as an evaluator for higher education courses and institutions at the Anísio Teixeira National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (INEP/MEC). He specializes in Civil Law and Civil Procedure from the State University of Londrina (UEL). He also holds a master's degree in Business Law: Civil Procedure (UEL), and a doctorate and postdoctorate in Law from the University of Marília (UNIMAR). He is the author of several books, chapters, and articles, and is a full member of the Brazilian Association of Procedural Law (ABDPro), the Brazilian Association of Law and Economics (ABDE), and the Paraná Institute of Procedural Law (IPDP).
