It's France's revenge for the lost Euro 2024 semi-final: They face Spain once again for a place in the final, this time at the 2026 World Cup! Both teams were considered favorites before the tournament even began and lived up to expectations. In the end, Spain triumphed 2-0, just as they did in 2024, and secured their spot in the World Cup final. The "Selección" dominated the first semi-final against a disappointing France and deservedly advanced to the final. While Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro scored the goals for Luis de la Fuente's team, the French attack, led by superstar Kylian Mbappé, was surprisingly lackluster on Bastille Day. In the second semi-final, England and Argentina will face off on Wednesday evening.
