Seven Dresses, One Wedding | Dress No.6: Giambattista Valli

Seven Dresses, One Wedding. Dress No. 6 Giambattista Valli This dress is a celebration of friendship, joy, and the unforgettable feeling of an Italian party. Giambattista Valli has been a dear friend of mine for many years. To me, he is not only a master of couture, but someone who truly knows how to have fun. In fact, we first met on a dance floor, so it felt only natural that he would inspire my after-party dress. I wanted this look to capture everything I love about Italian couture, beautiful craftsmanship, effortless glamour, and a sense of celebration. A playful mini dress is paired with a dramatic chiffon and organza cape, creating a silhouette that feels both elegant and free. The floral macramé was inspired by vintage 1960s patterns, bringing a sense of movement and nostalgia to the design. To complete the look, the macramé pattern continues into a pair of custom boots, created together with Manolo Blahnik, making every detail part of the same story. This chapter is my tribute to Giambattista, to the incredible artisans who brought this vision to life, and to the joy of dressing up, dancing, and celebrating love.
