Beautiful 150 year old Forgotten Linden Manor House & Farm Abandoned in the Mountains of Virginia

This beautiful old vernacular farm house was built in the late 1800’s sometime between 1880-1900. It was built for a newly married couple on a stretch of property owned by the husband’s family and gifted to them after the wedding. A much older farm house exists from the same family but the land has since been sold and developed. Unfortunately it will most likely not be long for this old house sitting on a large amount of acres and Ryan homes developments being put up all around. Loved the gingerbread on the porch and the low gable on the front of the house, still some very pretty details inside like the staircase. Glad could document this old place before it’s gone.
