Mike's Meet The Alters video! Mike is known online as the "class clown" of our DID System - often switching out during gaming streams on our Twitch (@ The System Stream) or making lighthearted rebukes towards our Host (Kya). Most people don't know that he used to be an argumentative and standoffish Alter who struggled to connect to others; or what changes, healing and integration were necessary for him to become the firm but funny Protector he is now. Kya explains the psychology of Dissociative Identity Disorder - the reasons Alters exist as part of a coping mechanism developed to survive repeated childhood trauma.
