Living with 7 Alters and Amnesia (Dissociative Identity Disorder)
Tania was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly called multiple personalities) after surviving prolonged childhood trauma. She now lives with 7 alters who have amnesia barriers, often losing track of large periods of time. Despite these challenges, Tania is learning how to navigate daily life and wants others to understand that her alters are not random, but a complex coping mechanism for severe trauma. She hopes her story inspires empathy and greater awareness for DID. You can support SBSK and help us keep making these videos at / sbsk
