多摩川をわたる 沈埋トンネル【JRTT鉄道・運輸機構】
The immersed tunnel method was used for the Tama River crossing of the Haneda Tunnel, which was constructed by the Japan Railway Transport Organization (JRTT) as part of the construction of the (then) Keiyo Line. Construction began in December 1967, and involved the installation of a total of six 80-meter-long immersed tunnels. This video documents the construction work that took on extremely soft ground using the immersed tunnel method. Approximately 30 minutes. Produced in September 1970. This video won the Second Prize at the 4th Japan Society of Civil Engineers Film Competition (1970). In June 1972, construction work for private railway lines in three major metropolitan areas was added. Until the Corporation was transferred to the Railway and Transport Organization on October 1, 2003, it had completed 109 railway lines totaling approximately 2,810 km, including the Seikan Tunnel, the Joetsu, Hokuriku, and Tohoku Shinkansen lines, the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Line, the Mori Line (South Rias Line) and Kuji Line (North Rias Line), the Kosei Line, the Urakami Line (Nagasaki Main Line), the Musashino Line, the Sendai City Rapid Railway Namboku Line, and the Yamanashi Maglev Experimental Line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Railway Transport Authority (RTA) has inherited the technology and experience of the Japan Railway Corporation and is advancing railway development through the construction of new Shinkansen lines and the Urban Railway Convenience Improvement Project. #RailwayTransportAuthority #jrtt #KeiyoLine
