As coisas de Deus não são LÓGICAS: Deus Escolhe o Fraco Para Envergonhar o Forte.

You already know this, but it needs to be said again: God's ways aren't always logical. God doesn't always act according to human logic, and this confuses us, because security usually comes when logic prevails. The problem is that, often, God doesn't offer this logic; He offers an inversion. That's why we feel insecure, suspicious, trying to understand if God's way will really work, especially when everything seems different from what people say, what the world would do, and what our reason expected. Gideon had 32,000 men to fight against the Midianites, but God said that was too many. According to human logic, the way forward would be to arm everyone, organize the army, and go to war with all available force. But God reduced everything to 300 men, so that the victory wouldn't seem like the result of human strength. It was an impossible logic, and that's why Gideon asked for signs. How could he win a war with 300 people when he had 32,000? But it is precisely there that God shows that He does not work bound by human calculation, by what is visible, and by the control we want to have. Jesus also teaches by inversion. Whoever wants to save their life will lose it; but whoever loses their life for His sake and for the sake of the gospel will save it. In the kingdom of God, whoever wants to be great must serve. Whoever wants to be the greatest must become a servant. It is not the path of the "super-winner," of arrogance, ambition, and the attempt to prove merit before God. It is about losing the egocentric man, denying oneself, becoming like a child, and entering into the reconstruction that God does. The cross also enters into this logic: the place of shame, curse, and condemnation has become the place of salvation. Paul even says that God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and what is weak in the world to shame the strong. Therefore, when God asks for a path and insecurity says, "But that's not logical," perhaps the first thing to question is not God, but the logic of this world. We should be wary of the logic of the obsessive, of "this is the only way I can go," of "I can only do it this way." Perhaps God wants to revolutionize your life precisely when you become quiet, stop allying yourself with Egypts, and make it clear that liberation came from Him, that the blessing came from Him, and that the testimony belongs to Him.
