Community Work Lecture Series | Welcome and Introduction with Prof. Dr. Felix Manuel Nuss and Maren Schreier This video was produced as part of the online Community Work lecture series in the summer semester of 2025. In the welcome address, Prof. Dr. Felix Manuel Nuss (Catholic University of Applied Sciences North Rhine-Westphalia, Münster campus) introduces the lecture series format and the upcoming sessions. Maren Schreier (OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences), as spokesperson for the Community Work section, provides insights into the section's work and opportunities for participation. The lecture series is part of a trinational collaboration between experts from Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, who are organized under the umbrella of the Community Work section of the German Association for Social Work (DGSA). The lecture series aims to provide access to current research findings, theoretical debates, and practice-oriented projects. The format is geared toward practitioners, students, and academics.
