Stuttgart (D - BW) Die Glocken der Stadtpfarrkirche St. Konrad

This video presents the bells d1 -e1 -g1 -a1 [re3 -mi3 -sol3 -la3) of St Konrad city church in Stuttgart. All bells were made in Heidelberg in 1966. ➥ In 1965, a new set of bells was to be cast for the St Konrad city church, which was then under construction. Since the local Kurtz foundry no longer existed, the parish turned to the Friedrich Wilhelm Schilling bell foundry in Heidelberg, which produced four bells with variable shape for the St Konrad in 1966. As one might expect given the year of casting and the foundry, the St Konrad ensemble is certainly among the best-sounding bells in the city. The peal was restored some time ago. Despite the installation of new fittings, the character of the Schilling bells was preserved. The richness and volume of the sound right in front of the church remain an acoustic experience!
