VIA Rail Business Class sample from Ottawa to Montreal on VIA train #38. 11/22/25

For the first time, I traveled on VIA Rail Canada Business Class on train #38 from Ottawa to Montreal utilizing the new Siemens Charger train equipment. We experience the accoutrements that goes with the Business Class product. The ride and service was excellent. Aside from the fast and on time train performance, I was pampered in a manner that’s alien in Amtrak’s Business Class. VIA has been known for providing excellent customer service and this ride was no exception. We got some shots of the train along the route in addition to those rather spartan and unappealing K5CA-LS horns. That’s the Canadian Standard on horns nowadays. It’s different, I’ll say that much.
