Ride on VIA train #633 from Montreal to Ottawa aboard a Siemens Charger Set. 11/22/25

I take my first ride ever on the new VIA Siemens Charger trains. We board at Central Station Montreal and take a quick look at the modern interior. The ride is very fast especially once the train gets on the Alexandria Subdivision at Coteau. We whoosh thru pastoral snowy scenery and pass thru many small towns enroute which are identified. All stations are identified and most interlockings. We reached speeds in the 90’s and slightly over 100mph in spots. I thoroughly enjoyed this ride on a sunny day thru the Canadian countryside. The Chargers are sleek and comfortable.
