Die Re 4/4 I 10034 mit ehemaligen SRCM-Wagen – Extrazug zum Murten Licht-Festival 2026 | SwissRails

On January 24, 2026, the Re 4/4 I 10034 from TEE-Classics, with three former SRCM coaches, ran to the Murten Light Festival 2026. This year, the festival celebrated its 10th anniversary. The trip was organized by RailHistoric and ran from Zürich HB via Lenzburg, Burgdorf, Bern, and Kerzers to Lake Murten. Initially, the locomotive ran as an empty train from Romanshorn to Sissach, where the coaches were prepared. The formation then ran as an empty stock train to Zürich, initially to the marshalling yard. Once the train was prepared at the main station, the special service to Murten began. Late in the evening, the train returned via the same route.
