A chronometer test is performed with this, simultaneously testing its effect on a laminate board. Afterward, the pellet is fired at and penetrated 18mm of hardwood from a Euro pallet. In this somewhat abbreviated test, full power is not used, as the primary goal is to simulate the power of a CO2 revolver/lever-action rifle.
