Homemade Pizza… simple & yummy

Hi Friends!!! Here is my pizza dough recipe 3 1/2 cups all purpose or Bread flour 1 1/2-2 cups warm water 1 package yeast- any kind 1 1/2 tbs olive oil 2 tsp salt 1 tsp garlic & herb- optional 1/2 tsp black pepper 1-2 tsp sugar Note: you can add any seasoning you like to your flour or you can leave it plain. Make sure you add your salt. I wouldn’t recommend using self rising flour because it has baking powder! ❤️ Make sure your water is warm- not more than 110 degrees Check expiration date on yeast. Dissolve yeast & sugar in water Let it get frothy or foamy- 5 minutes If it doesn’t in 10 minutes throw it out. Before you mix it with your flour. If you do, you can make fried bread… Whisk flour and seasoning Add your yeast mixture a little at a time. You want a jaggy dough You can mix in stand mixer for 8 minutes until your dough is smooth and stretchy, and it pulls away from the bowl.. If you’re not using a stand mixer after you mix your dough you need to knead for 10 minutes until it is stretchy and feels like play dough…lol Put small oil in a bowl and put your dough in the bowl and coat it with some olive oil and cover and let it double in size. You can put it in the refrigerator overnight for a slow rise or for a few hours if you need to do that it will help keep your dough from over proofing.. Over proofing makes it more of a strong stronger alcohol smell and it can also deflate… If you’re going to cook your pizza in your oven, I usually cook it on 475 to 500° Use any toppings you love!!!!
