The key to getting himself into such dominant positions was his MMA wrestling combinations that led to his take downs, one of which we look at in this video. The takedown happened in round 2 of the fight when Cub Swanson was trying to block Frankie Edgar's wrestling and take down attempts on the cage. A sudden switch of direction with his wrestling and some great pressure and technique led to a great takedown for Edgar which helped him secure ground position and win the round.
