I have fished for rock blackfish for decades. And they are definatly one of my favourite species in more ways than one. To start they increase your skills. These are just some of the reasons. By the different types of terrsain the live in, learning how to land them in difficult terrain, learning how to land big pigs on medium to lighter line classes, learning how to fish often difficult white water zones, and much more. And of course the eating quality is superb firm and does not have an offensive flavour especially for the persons that are fussy fish eaters.
