Fishing in EXTREMELY Dangerous Crocodile Waters?

In today's Adventure I set out on foot across a maze of tidal mudflats, knowing I would be stranded at the river mouth until the tide returned. With saltwater crocodiles scattered throughout the system, every step had to be carefully planned as I searched for a fish worthy of dinner. Along the way I explore one of Australia's wildest coastal environments, spotting an incredible black-necked stork, birds of prey soaring overhead, edible sea purslane growing on the flats, and plenty of signs that this place belongs to the wildlife. After hours of casting lures under the scorching tropical sun, persistence finally pays off. Two undersized barramundi are safely released before I finally hook the fish I'd been hoping for. But catching dinner is only half the adventure... With the tide rising, I have to make the long walk back across the flooded mudflats, avoiding deeper channels where the crocodiles are most at home. Back at camp, I cook up fresh queenfish and chips with wild bush tucker before sharing an old bush trick for keeping mosquitoes away using nothing more than dried cow patties If you enjoy fishing, bushcraft, Australian wildlife and exploring remote places, I think you'll enjoy this one.
