-019 - Residential Explosion - Greenfield Expanse
Often I notice (even with myself) that we tend to build in Cities Skylines our cities too compact. Way too much commercial and industries jam packed together causing often a lot of traffic. And when you think about it, when you have a town that has 5,000 population to start with, how many shops are REALLY in such a town? How much industrial factories are in such a small town? The reality is that we build way too much industry and commercial, and if we do, we tend to put it all in one place. Making it a logistical nightmare. Sadly enough my previous savegame got corrupted and I got not get it back to work (Oasis), but it also gives me the opportunity to take a whole new approach in city building. Using the space a map provides. Let's find it out if this new approach works. At least no hassle in trying to squeeze train track through certain area's. Map: "Willamette River" by Sandman6700
