CALAX Update April 2026 - EB1A Girder Installation | Toclong Road Update

The girder lifting operations for CALAX Expressway Bridge 1-A (EB1A) along Toclong Road officially started last March 30 and concluded around 4:00 AM of April 10. The timeline also covered the Holy Week break, which contributed to the extended duration. The bridge consists of three spans with a total of 33 Type V girders installed (11 girders per span). With this, the EB1A girder installation is now fully completed. This marks the second to the last bridge before we can confidently say that all bridge girder installations for the Cavite–Laguna Expressway (CALAX) are fully completed. More importantly, EB1A serves as the final bridge component that will complete the connection of CCLINK to the CALAX Kawit Interchange. Connection sequence: CCLINK → CALAX KVE → Embankment → CALAX EB1A → Kawit Interchange Congratulations to MPCALA Holdings Inc., the project proponent, and to Leighton Contractors Asia Ltd. together with Ravago, for successfully completing this major lifting milestone. 👏 Hats off to the entire lifting team and all workers involved.
