Cavite - Laguna Expressway update (Subsection 2 and 1) as of June 2026

In this June 2026 update, we take a closer look at the ongoing construction progress of CALAX Subsection 2 and Subsection 1. Following the completion of the final girder installation at the Navarro PasCam Bridge on May 24, 2026, all major bridge girders along the remaining sections of CALAX have now been successfully installed. Construction efforts are currently focused on earthworks, embankment construction, pavement works, bridge connections, drainage systems, utility provisions, and other finishing activities needed to complete the expressway. Featured locations in this update include: • Governors Drive Area • Manggahan Section • Amaia Tunnel Area • Navarro–PasCam Bridge • Open Canal Interchange Area • EB1A Embankment • Kawit Interchange Area • Various work fronts along Subsection 2 and Subsection 1 As the rainy season begins, construction crews continue working across multiple sections of the project to keep progress moving forward.
