Allegiant MD-80 Retirement Flight (Full Flight) - Shot in 4K

Enjoy this view from the MD-80 retirement at Allegiant Airlines. Date: 11/28/2018 Route: FAT-LAS Aircraft: MD-83 N417NV Flight: G480 AAY80 (Allegiant 80) This was a special flight from Fresno (FAT) to Las Vegas (LAS). Allegiant retired the MD-80 on November 28th, 2018. By early 2018, the Allegiant MD-80's were moved to the Orlando Sanford base, and were no longer flying regularly out of Las Vegas. Allegiant had flown this aircraft from Orlando SFB to Las Vegas. It then performed the first leg LAS-FAT. We then boarded it for the FAT-LAS retirement flight. This flight also had many Allegiant employees who were there to wish the MD-80's farewell. In this video, you will see the aircraft pull into the gate, accompanied by some music that was played inside the terminal in Fresno, by a live pianist. You'll also see some F15s from the California Air National Guard's 144th Fighter Wing. Then you will also see a rare 11L departure from FAT. During approach, we were treated to a spectacular view of the Las Vegas Valley and the Strip. Followed by a fantastic landing on Runway 19L in Las Vegas. To finish it off, we were then given a water cannon salute by the crew at the McCarran Airport's ARFF. Many thanks to the folks at ‪@Allegiant‬, ‪@LASAirport‬, and ‪@fresnoyosemiteinternationa9572‬ for making this possible.
