This Awkward Sketchbook Taught Me a Lot

Welcome to Draw Tip Tuesday! Not every page in this sketchbook made me happy, but I finished it anyway, and want to flip through its pages with you. It's a Hahnemühle Watercolor book, size A6. The 200gsm paper is lightly textured. I didn't love the landscape format at first, but I kept going anyway. I kept showing up, drawing my husband, people at the theater, friends on video calls, a cafe in Amsterdam where the barista liked my sketch so much he gave me a free coffee. Some pages clicked, some didn't, and you'll see both. There are also a few pages filled during my live online Mini-Workshop. I host these monthly 90-minute live drawing sessions monthly, and anyone can join. We draw together, get inspired by each other, and just hang out. If you like my videos here on YouTube, you'll probbably like these sessions too. I would love to see you there next time: https://luma.com/calendar/manage/cal-...
