Northern Michigan Summer '26: Lake Huron and the AuSable River

Join me for a summer day exploring Lake Huron and the Au Sable River in Northern Michigan. Starting with sunrise in Oscoda and ending with a beautiful steelhead on the river, this first adventure is full of paddling, fishing, coffee, and life outdoors. The morning starts with breakfast on the beach before launching at Foote Dam and paddling the Au Sable River. Along the way I stop for coffee, fish a few promising spots, capture photos for a future Au Sable River Store shirt design, and share a look at our new Northbound Collection from All Day Fire Outfitters.
