How to Round Skateboard Edges with a Router | Step by Step

In this video, I show how to round skateboard edges with a handheld router using the setup we use in the shop. A lot of people have asked how I edge route a skateboard deck, so I walk through the tools, router bit, speed, and homemade router plate I use to get clean rounded edges. If you are making skateboards at home and want a simple way to get a more professional finish, this video should help. For this setup, I use a DeWalt compact router on full speed, a 3/16 inch roundover bit, and a homemade router plate made from an old skateboard we pressed and rode. If you have questions, leave them in the comments and I will do my best to answer them.
