How to Carbon Fiber Skateboard Deck
Greetings Sirs and Ladies. Thanks for visiting my channel. Please like and subscribe. I would love to hear feedback/suggestions. About this video: Here I attempt (successfully) a carbon fiber wrap of my electric skateboard deck. I've just recently started working with carbon fiber. It's an awesome material when used properly. If you are considering doing work with Carbon Fiber, do as much research as you can tolerate before you start. It's a tedious process where mistakes can take hours to correct or cost you money and time. I used CF on this rebuild ESK8 project to give this deck extra resistance against torsion. But there is no "Free Lunch". I sacrificed some of the Flex range of this deck by adding CF and Epoxy resin to both sides. Just like many of you, I use youtube to do my research on new projects. For this video, I used this two channels: Easy Composites (information on proper use of carbon fiber and epoxy): / easycompositestv Pavel Garmas (DIY Esk8 content and tutorials): / pavelgarmas Cheers from Florida!
