First Time at Pandan Reservoir! 50km Foldie Ride Across Singapore's West on a 20" Wheel

First time riding to Pandan Reservoir — Singapore's only elevated reservoir — and it did NOT disappoint. Super scenic, but absolutely scorching. 🥵 This 50km ride on my 20" foldie took me through some of the best (and hilliest) parts of Singapore — from a scenic spin along Avenue 12 in Woodlands, grinding up the Ulu Sembawang hills, cutting through Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok and Jurong East, all the way to Pandan Reservoir and along Sungei Pandan — where I unlocked the second circular overhead bridge over an expressway! Also hit Hillview for the first time before looping home via the Rail Corridor, Pang Sua PC, Woodlands Road and Kranji back to Woodlands. Fuel stop at McDonald's because, obviously. 🍟 📍 Route highlights: 00:00 Woodlands (Ave 12 scenic ride) 00:54 Ulu Sembawang (those hills though!) 01:59 Mandai, Woodlands Road, Pang Sua PC 04:12 Choa Chu Kang → Bukit Batok → Jurong East 07:41 Pandan Reservoir ⭐ (first time!) 09:13 Sungei Pandan (circular overhead bridge!) 11:25 McDonald's (mandatory) 12:24 Hillview (first time too!) 12:49 Rail Corridor → Pang Sua PC → Kranji → Woodlands 🚲 Bike: 20" foldie 📏 Distance: ~50km 🗺️ PCN / Park Connectors: Pang Sua, Rail Corridor, Ulu Pandan If you're planning a long ride to the West side of Singapore, this route is 🔥 (literally). --- 🤳🏻 Follow me on Instagram:   / szenius   💬 Drop a comment if you've been to Pandan Reservoir — is there a better time of day to go? #cycling #singapore #foldingbike #cyclingsingapore #pandanreservoir
