Antiques in France - Saint Emilion - Did We Buy It? - EP104 One of our favourite traditions each year is visiting the incredible brocante in the beautiful town of Saint-Émilion. These markets are always full of surprises — and this time was no different. Very early in the hunt, both Richard and I spotted something that completely stopped us in our tracks… a chandelier that looked absolutely perfect for our Coco Chanel bedroom. Elegant, dramatic, and exactly the kind of piece you dream of finding when you come to a brocante. Wandering these markets is always an adventure. Some days we come home with incredible treasures, and other days we simply enjoy the hunt — admiring the craftsmanship, imagining the history behind each object, and occasionally sharing a priceless reaction or two (Gippy’s face says it all!).
