Hidden Treasures - Rauzan - Antiques in France

Hidden Treasures - Rauzan - Antiques in France - EP106 Spring has arrived in France, and that means one thing… brocante season is back! 🌸 This week at Almost a Château, we head to the famous Rauzan antique brocante, with over 100 stalls filled with vintage treasures, unique finds, and plenty of surprises. Richard is fuelled by his favourite treat — hot churros dipped in sugar — while we hunt for the perfect pieces for our Coco Chanel bedroom. The list is still long… we’re searching for a mirror, table, chairs, and maybe even some artwork to complete the space. We’re also joined by a new friend, Valerie (don’t worry — Jane is still my wingwoman! 😉), as we explore the market and try to bring you something fresh and different from each brocante we visit. And of course… we couldn’t leave empty-handed. We found a beautiful pressed tin sign from the 1920s, featuring my favourite spirit animal — the bee 🐝 — and at just €20, it was an absolute bargain… a real steel (no pun intended!). There’s something special about these markets — the atmosphere, the history, and the thrill of finding that one perfect piece. ✨ What caught your eye today?
