Smoothounds Found! A Summer Evening at Gurnard

Back out on the beach and this time I headed to Gurnard with one goal… find some smoothounds 🎣 Armed with a mix of crab, squid, langoustine and fishing pully pennels, I set out hoping to get amongst a few decent fish. Thankfully the plan worked and the smoothounds showed up! Unfortunately my scales had other ideas and the batteries died, so not every fish made it onto the scales 🤦‍♂️ But just when I thought the session was winding down… another species moved in and started pestering the baits right at the end of the night. What was it?
