Two for One Day on CN With Manifest 8832 East and Empty Potash 3834 West at Chicago Heights

On a cloudy, windy morning I landed two CN trains at Chicago Heights, IL where CN’s Matteson Subdivision crosses the joint UP/CSX Villa Grove Subdivision. First it was the 8832, an SD70M-2 leading a 114 car manifest freight eastbound on main one. About four minutes later the 3834, an ES44AC comes through with 196 empty potash cars heading west as the eastbound was about to clear.
