Atıl Topraklardan Organik Çiftliğe: Bir Doktorun Gökçeada Macerası

This week I visited the farm of Osman Bülent Saraçoğlu, who lives in Gökçeada and built it on 55 acres of land with the philosophy of "Respecting and protecting what exists while contributing to the future and nature." Despite the rugged and challenging terrain, and the fact that the area had been left fallow for a long time, he says, "Yes, it's difficult land; but this is our land." He still uses trial and error, asking himself questions like, "What other trees can grow on the island? What else can we produce while protecting nature?" and tries to find the answers himself by grafting new trees.
