All right, today in this 2015 Jeep Cherokee, we're going to install a Curt T Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part number C56208. We'll go ahead and lay out our parts before we install it. This is our wire harness right here, and this is one of the T connectors. The T connector with the yellow wire goes to the driver side, T connector with the green wire goes over to the passenger side. We also have the black wire that gets connected up to an extra length of wire here, that eventually gets rammed to the battery. Once we get to the battery, it has a fuse holder right here, and also has a small parts kit with a fuse, some zip ties, and adhesive for the module as well. We'll go ahead and take the pan on the bottom and raise it up. We'll use this hook to help hold it up. This component has to be removed. Just pull open on this lever right here, and it comes apart. Next, we'll remove these tie downs right here. Just pop back the ring a little bit and this little plastic cover, you take a flat blade screwdriver and pop it up from this side. You'll use a torques bit to remove the screw. Got the first one out, we'll repeat on the drivers side. Now, you should be able to gently pull of on the threshold here and we can pop it loose. Now, we'll be able to pick up this well right here and take it out. We'll go ahead and loosen up the full ends right here. We'll remove that. All right, now there's two fasteners in these pockets. Here, and here. We'll remove those with a short Phillips head screwdriver. Okay. Now there's a little plastic snap fastener right here that we need to loosen up. I'm going to use a plastic pry bar. One on each side. Now this whole liner is loose, and it's also connected to the lid, so bring it back down and take it out. Now we'll go ahead and move onto the side panels, this is the drivers side, using a flat blade screwdriver, we'll go ahead and remove this tie down point right here. About a quarter turn and it comes right out. You can do that on both sides of the vehicle. All right, now we'll go ahead and loosen up our panel right here. There's some snap fasteners inside the edge of here, so it may help to pull back on the door seal and use our plastic pry bar to pop it open. Okay. We're just loosening this up to give us some working room to get access to wire harness. This is our drivers side, we'll do the same thing on the passenger side. Next up is to go ahead and temporarily remove the taillights. There's a screw here and here we have to remove using a key thirty torque bit. We'll go ahead and remove the taillight, just kind of rock it back and forth and it pops right out. Basically, to align the pins back here. Okay. Let's go ahead and disconnect those taillights from the harness. There's a small tab right here we had to push down. We'll leave this side alone for now and repeat for the passengers side. All right, let's go ahead and take a gromit here and we'll go ahead and pull it up and away. All right, now with everything loosened up, let's take our T connector with the yellow wire, route it behind our panel. It may help to loosen up the top panel as well. And follow the wires back through to the outside. Once we get started, let's use a piece of wire to help pull it through the rest of the way. We fall enough wire to get access to our white wire and ring terminal. Now we can go ahead and make our first electrical connection. T connector to our fractured wire harness, push together until it clicks. Next, we'll make a slit in our grmit right here, using a knife or ten snips, and we'll tuck our wire in though there. Just enough to get the wire through there, we'll put our gromit back in place. This is our silk tapping screw, and we'll need a quarter inch nut driver to install it. By the way, that white wire is for ground. There's a lot of sheet metal back here. All right, we'll take our other free end, and plug it back into our taillight. Then, we can reinstall a taillight by popping it in place and re-installing the screws. Now, let's work with our T connector with the green wire. We're going to route that toward the other side, and basically repeat the same process. When we do that, we're going to try to keep it underneath the plastic and tuck it behind the carpeting as well. Take our T connector and run it through the opening in the metal. That's approximately, just forward of this hole that way, in this direction. Same
