FLYING TO ST BARTH 2020
Another beautiful 1200 miles trip over the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea to my beloved island. Unfortunately after months of correspondence with the St Barth airport authority, I was informed that my special landing qualification, which I had since the early 80's was no longer valid. The rule changed in 2017 and requires a recurrency training every 6 months in the same category and class of aircraft. Making it totally unpractical unless you fly there regularly. So today we are flying to St Maarten instead And ferrying to St Barth by boat.
