In questa narcisistica corsa delle città verso la grandiosità tendiamo a nascondere e dimenticarci delle ferite e delle fragilità dei nostri centri urbani. Federica Verona ci aiuta a capire come la creazione di laboratori dell'errore in ogni città potrebbe aiutare a ripensare i nuovi scenari dell'abitare, ripartendo dalle fragilità che possono essere risorsa. Today’s cities are shaped by phenomena and forces like gentrification, overtourism, financialization of housing etc. In this fast process towards growth, we tend to forget the fragility and vulnerability of our urban environments. Federica Verona explores the idea of turning those weaknesses into strengths by creating urban labs where we can imagine new ways of inhabiting cities and building a more inclusive and sustainable future for local communities. Architect and urban planner dedicated to addressing housing challenges, social housing projects, and promoting culture as a social catalyst in residential and peripheral areas. She writes about cities for various publications and contributes to Repubblica Milano. She serves on the board of the Workers’ Cooperative Consortium, is the president of APS NoiCoop, and is the founder of Super, the festival of peripheries in Milan.
